Senior Accountant-Part Time

About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
- Year end accounting for business clients.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities for clients through strategic planning.
- Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries, providing expert guidance and support.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and communicate impacts to clients.
- Mentor junior staff and provide training on tax preparation and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Ultra Tax experience required for fully remote position.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
