This is a high-impact role for a leader with a heart for people, a servant-leadership mindset, and a passion for helping a campus flourish spiritually, relationally, and operationally. This role shapes the spiritual growth of the congregation, equips leaders, and ensures the campus experience reflects Mercy Church’s vision, mission, and values.

Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this role, the applicant must:
  • Be a person of high character
  • Meet the requirements of an elder as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:2-7 and Titus 1:6-9
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree; a degree in Ministry, Theology, Leadership, or related field is preferred
  • Have 3–5 years of experience in pastoral or ministry leadership, including volunteer leadership and congregational care
  • Possess strong biblical knowledge and commitment to the church's mission and values
  • Have a demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop others in ministry roles
  • Be able to manage multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Accept and agree with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
  • Be a member of Mercy Church or willing and able to become a member

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shepherd the Congregation: The Associate Campus Director (ACD) plays an active role in caring for and supporting the congregation at the Northeast Campus, partnering closely with the Campus Pastor (CP) in all aspects of pastoral care. While ordination is not required, this role involves many shepherd-like responsibilities, including nurturing spiritual growth, providing guidance, and connecting individuals to appropriate support.
  • Weekend Service Leadership: The Associate Campus Director (ACD) partners with the Campus Pastor (CP) to lead and oversee all aspects of weekend services at the Northeast Campus. This role ensures that services run smoothly, volunteers are equipped and supported, and the congregation experiences meaningful, well-organized worship. The ACD plays a key role in service planning, volunteer coordination, and leadership development within the context of weekend ministries.
  • Leadership Development: The Associate Campus Director (ACD) plays a critical role in developing both staff and volunteer leaders at the Northeast Campus. This includes providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure leaders are equipped to serve faithfully and effectively. The ACD helps cultivate a culture of leadership multiplication, empowering leaders to raise up others for ministry.
  • Administrative Support: The ACD serves as a key administrative leader for the Northeast Campus, supporting the CP in managing both weekly operations and weekend services. This role requires a servant-leader mindset, flexibility, and a willingness to step in wherever needed to ensure the campus runs efficiently.
  • Culture and Vision: As a primary carrier of the church’s culture, the ACD ensures that the Northeast Campus consistently reflects Mercy Church’s mission, vision, and values. This role involves modeling the desired culture for staff, volunteers, and the congregation, while supporting initiatives that strengthen community and spiritual growth.
