BrightStar Care of Maple Grove & Andover is seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Nursing (RN) to lead Clinical Operations and drive the continued growth of our home care agency. We are looking for a strategic and compassionate leader dedicated to high clinical standards, optimizing clinical efficiency, and empowering our care teams to deliver a higher standard of care.

Key Responsibilities for Director of Nursing (RN):
- Maintain and uphold current policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with the Minnesota Department of Health and Joint Commission standards, including chart audits and other quality assurance measures.
- Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing client assessments, develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans for both skilled and non-skilled cases.
- Provide hands-on clinical care/support as needed, including wound care, infusions, medication management, and occasional field coverage.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for clients and clinical staff, promoting continuity of care.
- Directly manage our RN Case Managers to effectively balance caseloads and maximize productivity.
- Supervises, educates, and coaches other nursing personnel/care-giving staff.
- Plans and implements in-service and training programs.
- Oversees the maintenance of client clinical records, statistics, reports, and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities and compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care. Shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
- Promotes home care referrals in the health care community.
Qualifications for the Director of Nursing (RN):
- Current unrestricted MN Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing-accredited program.
- Clinical experience with five (5) years of experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility.
- Reliable car/auto insurance.
- Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct staff.
- Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills.
- Comply with accepted professional standards of practice.
- Proven ability to build quality and implement improvements within the operation.

Compensation: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
