POSITION SUMMARY


The ERP Manager (Does not need manager background but a candidate who is open to moving into that type of role) is responsible for managing and assisting with daily system and end user support, user training, systems maintenance, software development and projects as assigned.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage ERP team, IBM Power System and EPICOR-CMS ERP software
  • Support for multiple locations in a 24-hour manufacturing environment
  • Set up and test EDI communication with customers and suppliers and Trusted Link visual mapper experience, EDI VAN knowledge.
  • Monitor system performance and perform periodic maintenance on IBM server
  • Train users on application (EPICOR: CMS) functionality
  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly/year-end backups
  • Experience with SQL; FTP/SFTP/STPS scripts; IBM job scheduler; IBM IFS directory and folder experience
  • Develop and maintain application documentation
  • Create and maintain user access
  • Respond to 2nd Level IT help tickets

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology preferred, or equivalent experience with EPICOR CMS and IBM Power Server (admin, user support, and appl dev).
  • Proven experience supporting and developing within EPICOR-CMS system.
  • Hands-on EDI experience in a manufacturing release environment.
  • Familiarity with systems across multiple departments (Materials, Inventory, Accounting, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience implementing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment to align with organizational objectives.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Technical experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation preferred.
  • Working knowledge of application support, development tools and methodologies.
  • Strong technical IT skills
  • Manufacturing ERP systems experience

OTHER:

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
