Job Summary
A Whole New World Academy is seeking a warm, patient, and dedicated Lead/Assistant Teacher for our Two-Year-Old Classroom. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, safe, and developmentally supportive environment while helping children build independence, social skills, and early academic readiness.

Teachers do not need to create their own lesson plans — we provide a well-organized, structured curriculum along with learning materials, activities, and support. The primary responsibility is to implement the curriculum, engage with students through play-based learning, communicate with families, and contribute positively to the classroom environment. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative.

If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
• Supervise and care for a class of  two-year-old children
• Implement our center’s structured curriculum and daily activities (no lesson planning required)
• Create a welcoming, safe classroom where children feel loved, supported, and confident
• Promote social-emotional development, early language skills, and hands-on learning
• Maintain a clean, organized learning environment following safety and hygiene protocols
• Communicate daily with parents regarding progress, behaviors, and milestones
• Follow center policies, licensing requirements, and classroom management expectations

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Patient, kind, and nurturing
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to lift 20–30 lbs and support active play and movement
  • Must meet NJ childcare licensing requirements for employment
  • CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)

Compensation: $37,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
