We’re growing and looking for a full-time, licensed cosmetologist to join our fun, supportive family hair salon team. If you love cutting hair, enjoy working with kids, and want a consistent schedule in a positive, fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit for you.

What You’ll Do:

Provide high-quality haircuts for children and families
Help create a fun, welcoming, and low-stress experience for every guest
Work with a wide range of personalities, ages, and comfort levels
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
Be a positive, dependable team player who helps keep the day flowing smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

Current Virginia Cosmetology License (required)
Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Someone who enjoys working with kids and families
Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Comfortable in a busy salon environment

We are a locally owned children and family hair salon operating within the Pigtails & Crewcuts brand in Newport News, VA and Richmond, VA. Our salons are built around the idea that working with children should be joyful, meaningful, and supportive — both for families and for the team members who care for them every day.

Our stylists are trained specifically to work with children of all ages and abilities, and we place a strong emphasis on patience, communication, and creating positive experiences.
