Director of Operations – Home Healthcare

BrightStar Care of Greater Chester County is currently seeking a strong Director of Operations for our non-Medicare, Joint Commission–accredited home healthcare and medical staffing agency. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality care delivery across our organization.

Position Overview
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our home care and medical staffing services. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, lead and develop staff, optimize scheduling efficiency, and uphold BrightStar Care’s high standards of care and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage scheduling coordinators, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure operational efficiency and compliance
- Ensure adherence to state and federal home care regulations, including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
- Partner with internal teams to recruit, develop, and retain top clinical and non-clinical talent
- Oversee client and staffing schedules to ensure timely, appropriate, and high-quality care delivery
- Monitor quality assurance metrics, client satisfaction, and employee performance
- Manage financial performance, including P&L oversight, EBITDA, and revenue growth
- Implement and maintain clear accountability using structured process management tools such as a RACI matrix
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or equivalent operational experience
- Minimum of 3 years of operational leadership experience, with a proven ability to implement growth strategies
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of healthcare operations in both in-home and institutional settings
