What You’ll Do
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, you’ll provide therapeutic services to older adults in senior living settings—bringing empathy, clinical skill, and creativity to every interaction. You’ll have the flexibility to design your schedule and contribute to a supportive, mission-driven team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group counseling tailored to older adults
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop care plans
- Represent BetterCare Wellness within senior living community to maintain & build caseload
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and facility staff
- Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards
- Participate in team meetings, training, and program development
- Contribute ideas to help shape our evolving care model
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina
- Experience with older adults, trauma-informed care, or chronic illness preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfort with hybrid care (in-person and telehealth)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and openness to innovation
