-
Color/Stain Matching: Mix and match stains or tinted finishes to blend new work with existing cabinetry; perform sample panels and customer approvals.
-
Cabinet Painting: Prep (clean/degloss/sand), prime, and paint cabinets using brush/spray techniques; achieve durable, professional finishes with minimal overspray and consistent sheen.
-
Plans & Specs: Read/interpret drawings, field measurements, and project scopes; verify dimensions and produce cut lists.
-
Quality & Safety: Maintain high craftsmanship standards; follow jobsite safety protocols (PPE, dust control, tool safety).
-
Customer Communication: Coordinate schedules, set expectations on lead times and finish outcomes, and maintain a clean work area.
Required Qualifications

- Familiarity with Cabinet Vision or similar layout software; ability to create simple shop drawings.
- Knowledge of substrate selection (plywood vs. MDF vs. solid wood) and finish systems (lacquer, conversion varnish, waterborne).
- Experience coordinating with countertop installers and painters/finishers.
