New Horizon Therapy is looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with kids. New Horizon Therapy is a pediatric clinic located in Ahwatukee, Arizona. New Horizon has a top of the line sensory gym that has been a big hit with our clients.
Occupational Therapist RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-
Planning for and providing targeted therapy for a variety of children on your caseload - Administering diagnostic evaluations as necessary
- Proper daily note taking using electronic documentation (Clinic Source)
- Maintain Client caseload

Occupational Therapist REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will have exceptional clinical skills and professional references.
- OT Licensed in the State of Arizona - must be in good standing
- Experience working with children of all ages and with a variety of disorder areas

Preferred candidates:
- Must enjoy working with kids
- Must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Must be currently registered/licensed in Arizona by the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
- All preferred candidates must be able to implement and follow occupational therapy treatment plans, recommendations, goals, and objectives under the direction of the occupational therapist. Additionally all candidates must be able to implement and adhere to clinic policies and procedures. Preferred candidates must be able to utilize therapy software and document in an appropriate and timely manner. All candidates must be able to sit, stand, lift, push, pull, stop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during work hours. Pediatric experience is preferred.
