Location: Raritan / New Brunswick, NJ, USA (Onsite)

Overview:
We are seeking an Onshore Senior AI Architect / Data Scientist to design and scale intelligent, multi-modal AI solutions on the Databricks platform, leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) and modern orchestration frameworks.

The role requires strong hands-on Databricks expertise, GenAI integration skills, and architecture-level design thinking. The selected candidate will play a critical role in architecting and expanding next-generation intelligence solutions across multiple use cases under the Global Brand Protection program.

Core Use Cases:
  • Columbo: Natural Language to SQL search over Databricks data, including fuzzy matching and unstructured text handling
  • Sales Anomaly Detection: Isolation Forest–based anomaly detection on sales data
  • Counterfeit Image Detection: Vision Transformer (ViT)–based image authenticity classification
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership across AI architecture, model integration, and solution delivery
  • Architect end-to-end AI pipelines using Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Model Serving)
  • Integrate GenAI platforms (Mosaic AI, Genie, Azure OpenAI) and orchestrate them via an MCP Server for NL-to-SQL and conversational intelligence
  • Implement governed, cost-optimized MLOps pipelines with retraining, lineage, and observability
  • Build multi-agent architectures combining text, tabular, and image models
  • Enforce role-based security and governance using Unity Catalog
  • Collaborate with UI (React) teams to integrate model outputs into Databricks web applications
  • Lead feedback-driven model improvements and mentor cross-functional teams
Core Skills:
  • Databricks Platform: SQL Warehouse, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Model Serving, OCR
  • GenAI Tools: Mosaic AI, Genie, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Vector Search, MCP Server for tool orchestration and context management
  • Machine Learning: Isolation Forest, PSI/KSI drift detection, model retraining
  • Computer Vision: Vision Transformers (ViT), Grad-CAM, explainability techniques
  • Data Engineering: Apache Spark, Python, Delta Lake, REST APIs
  • Governance & Security: RBAC, data lineage, masking, compliance policies
  • Soft Skills: Architecture design, stakeholder alignment, strong communication
Preferred Profile:
  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML or Data Science
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks
  • Proven experience with LLM-driven architectures (RAG, NL-to-SQL)
  • Strong ability to design scalable, multi-modal, and cost-efficient AI systems
  • Familiarity with A2A protocols and Databricks Mosaic AI / Genie
  • Experience deploying MCP Server to orchestrate multi-agent GenAI tool access 
Compensation: $60.00 per hour
