Michael Friel State Farm is seeking a highly motivated, sales-dominant Account Manager who thrives on prospecting, closing, and hitting production goals. Pennsylvania Licensing Requirements

This position must meet Pennsylvania Insurance Department licensing standards.

  • An active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license is required prior to your Day 1 start in the office.

  • If not currently licensed, you must obtain your Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license before starting (full agency support provided).

  • A Pennsylvania Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of your start date.

We provide structured guidance, study direction, and onboarding support to help you move through the licensing process efficiently.

Role Overview

As an Account Manager, your primary mission is production. You will generate new business, conduct policy reviews, identify coverage gaps, and actively cross-sell to grow the agency’s book of business. You will work both warm leads and outbound opportunities with urgency and discipline.

Success in this role is measured by activity, closing ratio, and written premium.

Key Responsibilities

Drive New Business
 Proactively quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies.

Own the Sales Process
 Follow up aggressively on leads, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the sale.

Conduct Revenue-Generating Reviews
 Perform policy reviews to uncover gaps and cross-sell additional protection.

Build Long-Term Client Relationships
 Turn new customers into long-term clients who refer friends and family.

Track and Hit Production Goals
 Maintain strong pipeline management and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.

Collaborate for Growth
 Work with agency leadership and team members to drive overall office performance.

What We’re Looking For
