Job Summary: 

As a Restaurant Dishwasher for R & R Breakfast Spot you are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a smooth workflow for the restaurant staff.                                          

Duties/Responsibilities:

·           Washing Dishes: Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashers or by hand.
·           Organizing: Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
·           Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the dishwashing area and kitchen organized and free of clutter, including sweeping and 
            mopping floors as needed.
·           Assisting Kitchen Staff: Support other kitchen staff by helping with food prep, unloading deliveries, and restocking supplies as                          required.
·           Following Safety Standards: Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that all dishes are sanitized properly to prevent                            contamination.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
·          Communicate effectively orally. 
·          Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of all kitchen items to maintain hygiene standards
·          Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff.
·          Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy trays, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment. 
·          A keen eye for cleanliness and organization to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
 

Education and Experience:

·          1 year of fast-paced restaurant experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

·          Prolonged periods of standing.
·          Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
