Our State Farm agency is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR / Payroll Specialist to support payroll, benefits, and HR operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance while providing excellent support to our team members.

Our State Farm agency is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR / Payroll Specialist to support payroll, benefits, and HR operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance while providing excellent support to our team members.
Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly, multi-state payroll and monthly commissions
- Review and audit timecards, schedules, PTO, and payroll records
- Maintain accurate payroll records, deductions, and direct deposits
- Serve as the main contact for payroll, timekeeping, and benefits questions
- Train team members on HR/payroll system usage
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and leave administration
- Support compliance efforts related to payroll, benefits, and labor laws
- Maintain confidential personnel records and prepare basic reports
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll experience (multi-state preferred)
- Experience with benefits administration and leave management
- Knowledge of payroll taxes, garnishments, and compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud-based payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, Paychex, ProLiant, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
