No Place Like Home Senior Services (NPLH) is seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a gentleman living with advanced-stage dementia in his home.
This role is ideal for someone who understands higher-acuity dementia care and can provide consistent, calm, and patient support while maintaining dignity and quality of life.
š ABOUT THE CLIENT
- Ā Lives at home with his wife and their senior dogĀ
- Must be comfortable working in a home with a dog š¾Ā
- Ā Diagnosed with advanced-stage dementia, requiring hands-on care, redirection, and supervisionĀ

š The goal of this role is to provide safety, comfort, and quality of life through consistency and connection
š ļø RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ā Provide continuous supervision, companionship, and redirection
- Ā Assist with all ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals)Ā
- Ā Manage advanced dementia behaviors with patience and skillĀ
- Ā Maintain a calm, structured daily routine
- Ā Support mobility and ensure safety at all timesĀ
- Ā Light housekeeping and household supportĀ
- Ā Communicate updates to family and agency staffĀ

QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: Experience with advanced dementia or Alzheimerās care
- Ā Patient, calm, and dependableĀ
- Ā Strong communication and observation skillsĀ
- Ā Reliable transportation and valid driverās licenseĀ
- Must be comfortable with dogs (required)
- Ā Must pass background check and referencesĀ
