Primary Responsibilities – Mother-Centered Support
- Supporting the mother’s postpartum recovery, rest, and daily routine
- Assisting with meals, hydration, and light household support related to family care
- Providing emotional support and a calm, grounding presence
- Helping reduce overwhelm by supporting household flow and structure
- Supporting the mother so she can focus on healing and bonding
Secondary Responsibilities – Infant & Toddler Assistance (Parent-Directed)
- Assisting with newborn tasks as directed by the parent
- Supporting feeding and rest routines under parental guidance
- Supervising toddler activities while the parent remains the primary caregiver
- Supporting daily transitions such as meals, rest, and play
Role Boundaries
- This role does not function as a nanny or babysitter
- The caregiver does not assume primary responsibility for children
- Infant and toddler assistance is provided only under parental guidance
- This is a non-medical support role
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
