About the Role

We are a well-established residential roofing company based out of our Fresno office, providing steady, year-round work focused on roof repairs, maintenance, inspections, and diagnostic work—not seasonal or short-term labor.

We are looking for an experienced Residential Roofing Technician who is confident working on roofs, skilled in repairs, and capable of identifying issues, performing takeoffs, and communicating findings clearly. This is a long-term position with consistent hours, strong pay, and the ability to move up within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform residential roof repairs including:

    • Leak detection and repair

    • Shingle, tile, and flashing repairs

    • Pipe jack, vent, and penetration repairs

    • Minor structural and decking repairs when required

  • Conduct roof inspections and document conditions with photos and notes

  • Perform basic takeoffs and measurements for repairs and small projects

  • Accurately diagnose roofing issues and recommend proper solutions

  • Work safely and efficiently on steep and pitched roofs

  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and professional customer interactions

  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, estimators, and office staff

  • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards

Required Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years of hands-on residential roofing experience

  • Strong background in roof repairs (not just re-roofs)

  • Comfortable working on:

    • Shingle roofs

    • Tile roofs

    • Low-slope residential applications

  • Ability to perform roof measurements and basic takeoffs

  • Confident using ladders, safety equipment, and roofing tools

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Experience with roof inspections and documentation

  • Familiarity with repair-focused roofing systems and rejuvenation products

  • Leadership experience or interest in moving into a lead role

  • Construction or general home repair background
