Lawn Doctor of Northeast IL and Southeast WI is looking for a Field Service & Sales Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys building relationships with customers. This role is perfect for someone with lawn care experience who wants to combine technical expertise with customer service and sales opportunities while making a visible impact in the community.

What You'll Do

As a Field Service & Sales Technician, you will play an important role in both service excellence and customer education.

You will:

• Respond to service calls and ensure customers receive professional, solutions-focused support
 • Diagnose lawn issues including weeds, insects, turf health, and disease
 • Conduct lawn evaluations for new customers and provide honest recommendations
 • Identify opportunities for additional services that will improve the customer’s lawn
 • Apply treatments safely and in accordance with company standards and state regulations
 • Deliver a positive customer experience that strengthens retention and trust
 • Represent Lawn Doctor with professionalism and pride in the field

During peak season, technicians may also be asked to work Saturdays to support customer demand.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and values doing things the right way.

Qualifications include:

• Prior lawn care experience (fertilization, weed control, seeding, turf health)
 • Strong communication and customer service skills
 • Ability to diagnose lawn issues and explain solutions clearly
 • Sales mindset or willingness to learn how to recommend services confidently
 • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
 • Illinois and/or Wisconsin Department of Agriculture applicator license preferred

Pay & Benefits

• Starting pay: $20.00 per hour + commission opportunities
• Commission on sold services and upgrades
