Position Summary
The Early Education Assistant supports the lead teacher in providing a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for young learners. This role emphasizes care, structure, and Christ-centered growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily classroom activities and routines
- Supervise children during play, meals, and transitions
- Support social, emotional, and spiritual development
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
- Follow all safety, licensing, and supervision guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff
- Alignment with CCS mission and values
Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift, bend, and remain active throughout the day
