Position Overview
We are building a standardized and scalable Whatnot live commerce program focused on fast-paced auctions and rapid conversions. This role supports the company’s long-term, high-frequency Whatnot live streaming operations.
Responsibilities
- Actively host live streams, control the room, and guide real-time bidding
- Drive auctions and conversions through clear calls-to-action
- Maintain high-energy pacing and prevent dead air during live sessions
- Create urgency and encourage viewers to place bids
- Follow live stream SOPs and collaborate closely with the stream operator/moderator
- Strictly comply with Whatnot platform rules and policies
Qualifications
- Fluent English (required)
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (preferred)
- Confident on camera with clear, engaging communication skills
- Strong execution skills; able to follow scripts and SOPs precisely
Not Required
- No prior live streaming experience required
- No existing follower base required
- No personal influencer brand required
Ideal Candidates
- Candidates with backgrounds in sales, customer service, or bilingual customer-facing roles
- Individuals comfortable speaking continuously and performing in high-energy environments
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
