  • Facilitate house meetings focused on accountability, community building, and shared problem-solving.

  • Mediate resident conflicts in a constructive, solution-oriented manner.

  • Ensure residents are actively engaged in recovery supports such as AA/NA meetings, therapy, and life-skills programming.

House Operations & Maintenance

  • Oversee day-to-day house operations to ensure the residence is clean, well-maintained, and safe.

  • Maintain house supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate inventory and functionality.

Community Building & Resident Engagement

  • Foster a positive, inclusive community grounded in peer support, mutual respect, and accountability.

  • Encourage resident participation in group activities, community events, and volunteer opportunities.

  • Support residents in building connections to outside resources such as recovery groups, vocational training, and mental health services.

  • Promote shared responsibility for maintaining a clean and respectful living environment.

Program Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with WisHope policies, procedures, and applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including intake forms, progress notes, and incident reports.

  • Provide regular updates to the Program Director regarding resident progress, incidents, and operational concerns.

  • Assist with reporting requirements for funding or regulatory agencies as needed.

Crisis Management & Emergency Response

  • Respond to emergencies including medical situations, relapses, or behavioral issues, escalating to appropriate professionals or authorities when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Lived experience in recovery strongly encouraged; this role is ideal for individuals early in their recovery journey who are ready to take on leadership responsibilities.

  • Experience in sober living, peer support, or social services preferred but not required.

  • Strong communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills.
