ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Jim Tom - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Engage with existing and prospective insurance customers by phone, email, texting, and in person.
  • Provide remarkable service for existing customers’ need, to drive retention. You'll answer customer inquiries, provide policy information, assist customers with policy changes, updates, process insurance claims and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Uncover customer needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend tailored solutions from State Farm or alliance products.
  • Develop new prospective customers using various methods
QUALIFICATIONS:
Receptive to feedback and performance coaching
Persuasive or convincing
Fast learner who absorbs new material quickly 
Posseseses problem solving skills
Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
Competitive, highly self-motivated and enjoys being rewarded for your efforts
Able to work with other team members and independently, and able to hold yourself accountable for your performance
Ability to multitask, while performing tasks accurately with your attention to detail
Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses (possess or acquire asap)

This is in-office position at a local State Farm Agency located on the far north side of Chicago. This position is with an established State Farm Agent's office, not State Farm Companies.
Compensation: $38,000.00 - $52,000.00 per hour
