Mission:: Florida’s premier commercial elevator design-build firm is seeking a skilled Operations Production Manager to drive operational success in our growing company. Our company is currently in the process of implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to enhance our capacity in achieving our organizational goals. You will strive to optimize processes, ensure top-tier quality, and foster innovation. You will also play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, maximizing productivity, and delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities/Functions
• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet on time customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are maintained.
• Lead and motivate a team of production personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to achieve production targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production metrics, identify trends, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, engineering, project management, and quality assurance, to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
• Manage inventory levels and materials procurement to support production schedules and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
• Implement and enforce Safety protocols, Quality Control and Regulatory compliance measures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Drive initiatives to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality through automation, process optimization, or technology integration.
• Analyze production data and trends to identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and operational excellence.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on production performance, forecasting, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct regular audits to assess the efficiency of operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Skills & Experience
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a management or leadership role, with a proven track record of driving results, and managing teams.
• Real-world Experience in the construction and manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve production targets.
• Proven experience in production management, with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inventory management, procurement, and supply chain optimization.
• Familiarity with manufacturing principles and other methodologies for process improvement.
• Project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) highly favored
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Email, and Wrike (preferred, but will train).
• Self driven, accountable and ability to deal with management of change.
Additional Information
Hours
· 7am – 5:30, Mon – Thurs (excluding federal holidays).
· Fridays as needed
Compensation/Benefits
· $90,000 to $150,000
· Medical benefits available after 60 days
· 3 weeks paid vacation per year, accrued bi-weekly
· 5 paid holidays per year
· 5 paid holidays per year
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
