We are seeking a compassionate Homemaker to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the life of a client by enhancing their quality of life and supporting a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment. Homemaking services have been authorized to ensure the client’s living space is maintained and organized, with a focus on thorough cleaning and decluttering. The Homemaker will provide 6 hours per week of support through Optimal Home Care.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and cleaning living areas to help maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Conducting deep cleaning and decluttering as needed to address accumulated items and improve overall home organization.
- Assisting with laundry and linens, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing household textiles.

Meal planning and preparation or supporting with grocery shopping if outlined in the client’s care plan.
- Running errands and grocery shopping to support household needs when required.
- Helping maintain a clutter‑free and organized living space, reducing safety hazards and supporting independence.
- Providing compassionate support and respectful interaction with the client to foster comfort and well‑being.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
