About the Role:
Join The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers as a Summer Camp Counselor and make a difference in the lives of children! This exciting opportunity allows you to engage with kids through fun activities while fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in various recreational activities.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate games and crafts.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all campers.
- Assist with daily camp operations and logistics.
- Encourage teamwork and positive social interactions among campers.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding camper progress.
- Promote the values of respect, responsibility, and resilience.
- Participate in staff training and development sessions.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for child development and outdoor activities.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging children.
- Background check required upon hiring.
