Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Registered Nurse with strong Postpartum/Mother Baby experience to provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. This RN will demonstrate professional leadership, support the healthcare team, and uphold Patient-Centered Care and Service Excellence standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license to practice in Washington, DC – Required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications – Required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
- Postpartum/Mother Baby experience – Required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to postpartum and mother-baby patients
- Monitor and assess maternal and newborn health status
- Support patient education related to recovery and newborn care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Deliver care aligned with Patient-Centered Care principles
- Maintain Service Excellence in all patient and team interactions
Compensation: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
