Hours 5am-3am / 3pm-3am
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs.
- Assist in activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light household chores, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Provide transportation to medical appointments, errands, and community activities.
- Monitor and document people's progress and behavior.
- Assist in administering medications as needed.
- Implement individualized care plans and follow individual-specific instructions.
Skills:
- Experience in home care or elder care preferred.
- Knowledge of meal preparation and nutritional guidelines.
- Ability to provide direct support to individuals with disabilities or special needs.
- Familiarity with techniques and strategies for caring for people with dementia.
- Certification in first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is a plus.
- Ability to take vital signs and monitor people's health status.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
