Who We Are:
Caring Hands Home Health is a growing Home Health Care Agency seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Training Department (Full Time) at our Greensboro, NC location.  This position will be based out of our office located at 4321 S Elm-Eugene St, Greensboro, NC 27406.

Position Overview
This role works within the Training Department and focuses on caregiver education, clinical support, and ongoing staff development.

While this position utilizes clinical knowledge, it is not focused on routine direct patient care. Instead, the primary focus is strengthening caregiver performance, compliance, and clinical readiness while helping build and grow the agency’s Training Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct caregiver trainings focused on home health care standards and best practices
  • Provide clinical education to CNAs and PCAs
  • Conduct skills validations and competency reviews
  • Train caregivers on safety procedures, infection control, and care techniques
  • Provide retraining and performance improvement support as needed
  • Assist in building and strengthening the Training Department structure and processes
  • Coordinate and manage multiple training classes simultaneously while maintaining organization and quality
  • Reach out to applicants interested in training classes via phone, email, and text
  • Schedule, confirm, and follow up with class participants
  • Communicate consistently with caregivers and applicants to ensure class attendance and readiness
  • Provide follow-up support after trainings to ensure understanding and compliance
  • Maintain training documentation and competency records
  • Monitor caregiver compliance with agency and state regulations
  • Partner closely with Scheduling and Human Resources teams to support caregiver readiness and client satisfaction
  • Help identify training gaps and implement improvement strategies
  • Support a positive and engaging training environment
Requirements
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable transportation for travel to client locations
  • Ability to work independently in home settings
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends if needed

  • Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and effective manner
  • Must conduct yourself in a professional manner in all situations
  • Intermediate computer skills required, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be comfortable making calls, sending emails, and texting caregivers and applicants regularl
  • Ability to handle and facilitate multiple training classes at one time
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have no client care or environmental restrictions, including willingness to work in homes with pets/animals, comfort supporting and training caregivers who serve both male and female clients, and the ability to work in a variety of home settings without limitations.
