Job Overview:
As a Placement Assistant, you will support our producers and marketing team in placing insurance accounts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with clients and insurance carriers, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service. Urgency, Organization and Efficiency are key qualities for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the marketing of new and renewal accounts to carriers
- Prepare applications, proposals, and presentations for clients and underwriters
- Obtain and review quotes and policy documents
- Communicate with underwriters to clarify risk information and negotiate terms
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management systems
- Support account managers and producers with various administrative tasks
- Track submissions and follow up with carriers as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Help maintain a paperless office through electronic document management.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed by the Marketing Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in a marketing/placement role within an insurance agency.
- Florida 2-20 License (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
- Experience with AMS360, InsuredMine and DocuSign (preferred).
- Familiarity with commercial lines coverage (GL, WC, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Team player with a proactive attitude

Compensation: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
