Job Description -
Seeking a highly motivated candidate who demonstrates commitment to customer service and possesses strong technical skills and proficiency working with:
* Windows Server/Desktop operating systems, users administration, file system, software, and services
* Understanding of servers and various storage RAID configuration
* Active Directory management, including backup and recovery of domain and GPO setup
* Fundamental networking concepts and troubleshooting such as DHCP, DNS, Routing, Firewall
* Fundamental understanding of security principles, ACL, Encryption
* Scripting: PowerShell, bash, ksh or perl for automating routine tasks
* Experienced with monitoring system health and performance, able to provide statistics to identify bottlenecks and lead optimization efforts
* Disaster recovery planning and ability to perform backup and restore for systems, applications and data
* Patch and firmware installation and management
* Strong customer service mindset, providing +1 end user support experience
* Knowledge of Security software like Prowatch or Genetec - a plus
