Role Overview
As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility is agency growth. You will proactively generate new business, conduct strategic coverage reviews, cross-sell and upsell existing accounts, and convert both warm and cold opportunities into loyal clients. Strong service supports retention — but sales drives success in this role.
This is a sales-focused position with clear expectations around activity, follow-up, and monthly production. The successful candidate will be expected to sell a minimum of 35+ applications per month through new business, cross-selling, upselling, referrals, and proactive account management.
Licensing Requirements – Full Licensing Required
Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to Day 1 start in the office.
Life & Health license must be obtained within 60 days of starting.
Full study guidance, licensing support, and onboarding assistance are provided to help you successfully complete the process.
Where You’ll Make an Impact
Proactively market and sell auto, home, renters, and life insurance products
Conduct comprehensive policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities
Generate and follow up on new business leads daily
Confidently present coverage recommendations and close sales
Build long-term customer relationships that drive retention and referrals
Track pipeline activity and consistently meet or exceed production goals
Maintain a sales-first approach while supporting client needs and account growth
Qualifications
Proven success in sales or a strong desire to excel in a performance-driven environment
Ability and willingness to meet a requirement of 35+ applications sold per month
Property & Casualty license obtained prior to start date
Confidence leading sales conversations and handling objections
Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
Organized, disciplined, and consistent with follow-up
Experience in insurance, financial services, or account management preferred
Ability to meet licensing requirements outlined above

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
