Will Thomson State Farm is seeking a high-energy, sales-driven Account Manager who thrives on competition, production, and closing. This is not a passive service role — this is a revenue-generating position designed for professionals who are motivated by goals, accountability, and performance-based income.

Licensing Requirements

Full licensing is required for this position.

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to Day 1 start date
 • Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of starting
 • Full licensing support, study guidance, and onboarding assistance are provided

Candidates must have prior sales experience.
State Farm or insurance sales experience is preferred but not required.

What You’ll Do

Drive new business through outbound calls, referrals, lead follow-up, and proactive prospecting

Conduct needs-based conversations and confidently recommend appropriate coverage solutions

Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life & health insurance policies

Perform policy reviews to uncover cross-sell and upsell opportunities

Build long-term relationships that increase retention and generate referrals

Track daily activity and production to consistently meet and exceed sales goals


What We’re Looking For

Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals

Competitive, results-driven mindset

Confidence handling objections and asking for the sale

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Organized and disciplined with follow-up and pipeline management

Insurance or State Farm experience preferred but not required
