Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication assistance and reminders
- Ambulation and safe transferring of clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Follow individualized care plans
- Complete required documentation and charting
Qualifications
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse or nursing student accepted)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Criminal Record Check (CRC) for the Vulnerable Sector (valid within 5 years or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to travel within North Vancouver and surrounding areas
- Access to internet and a smartphone with data
