Role Overview: You are the primary "boots-on-the-ground" representative for our community. Your mission is to build authentic relationships with residents while ensuring they uphold the standards of their lease. You will balance empathy with firm accountability—helping residents understand their financial obligations (ledgers) and identifying physical issues within the home (housekeeping/hoarding) before they lead to eviction or legal action.
What You Will Do
- Relationship Building: Spend a significant portion of your day "walking the site," meeting residents, and becoming a familiar, trusted, yet firm presence in the community.
- Financial Mediation: Sit down with residents to walk through their account ledgers. You will explain balances, resolve misunderstandings, and clearly communicate the "hard truth" of what happens if payments aren't made (court/loss of housing).
- Preventative Inspections: Conduct regular home visits to identify "red flags" early—specifically looking for hoarding, poor housekeeping, unauthorized occupants, or unreported maintenance needs.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for resident issues, using de-escalation skills to turn high-tension situations into productive solutions.
- Case Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of home conditions and resident interactions to provide management with a clear picture of property health.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
- The "Approachable Authority": You can have a friendly conversation about someone's day and then pivot seamlessly into a firm conversation about a messy unit or an unpaid balance.
- High EQ (Emotional Intelligence): You can "read the room" and know when a resident needs resources/help versus when they need a stern warning.
- Observational Skills: You notice the signs of hoarding or lease violations that others miss.
-
Financial Literacy: You are comfortable explaining math and billing cycles to people who may be stressed or confused.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
