- Produce new personal lines business (home, auto, renters, umbrella) through direct leads and referral partnerships.
- Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support. Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.
- Establish, grow, and maintain a referral network of local real estate agents, loan officers, financial advisors, and community partners.
- Professionally represent Willow Wood Insurance at community events, and professional gatherings.
- Conduct needs-based consultations to assess coverage and present appropriate policy solutions.
- Effectively utilize agency tech (currently: Hawksoft, Agency Zoom, Risk Advisor, EZ Lynx Rater and more) and carrier platforms to quote and issue new business.
- Track sales activity, referral outreach, and engagement using top technology tools.
- Hold a Minnesota insurance license and have a minimum of two years of personal insurance sales experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business.
- Have a proven track record of sales success. Possess strong presentation skills with the ability to close sales.
- Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships.
- Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and have technology and computer proficiency.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary + commission – rewarding both sales volume and referral development. Compensation range $50k-$100k and higher.
