CNC Setup Machinist
Location: Hudson, MA 01749
The CNC Setup Technician will be setting up CNC machines, creating and modifying programs, precision machining, measuring parts, deburring, and handling in-process documentation.
Skills: CNC Setup, Calipers, Micrometers, and Gauges
Responsibilities
· Set up CNC machines (mainly Haas Milling) to produce precision aluminum parts according to specifications and work orders.
· Create and modify CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate production – willing to train!
· Operate CNC machines to execute production tasks.
· Inspect parts during and after machining to ensure they meet the required specifications and high-precision tolerances using inspection tools.
· Perform deburring operations to ensure parts meet quality standards.
· Accurately complete and maintain in-process documentation to track production progress and quality.
· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
