McClellands Contracting and Roofing, LLC is growing and seeking motivated, experienced Repair Technicians to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who have roofing experience, take pride in quality workmanship, and want steady repair-focused work.
What You’ll Do As A Repair Technician
This role focuses primarily on roof repairs and exterior service work, including:
- Diagnosing and repairing roof leaks
- Asphalt shingle roofing repairs
- Metal roofing repairs
- Limited TPO roofing work
- Warranty repairs on previously installed roofs
- Siding repairs (vinyl, fiberboard, etc.)
- Exterior projects including fascia and gutters
- Identifying problem areas and recommending solutions onsite
You’ll work in a 2-person crew, typically paired with a senior technician. While the team lead handles most customer conversations, you must be comfortable interacting with homeowners and answering basic questions about the work being performed.
What We’re Looking For In A Repair Technician
- 5+ years of roofing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of residential roofing systems
- Ability to diagnose leaks and problem areas independently
- High attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to meeting location
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred:
- Experience with metal roofing and/or TPO
- Siding and exterior repair experience
- Comfortable working in small crews
- Coachable, team-oriented attitude
Work Schedule
- Full-time
- Typical 8-hour days
- Opportunity for 10+ hour days during peak season
- Optional Saturday work available
- Weather-dependent winter slowdowns
