Essential Functions:
Performs self-care activities that help the patient with activities of daily living. These may include (but are not limited to):
Personal hygiene
Ambulance/Transfers
Dress/Shave
Prepare meals and snacks as directed
Accompany the patient to their errands or medical appointments
Perform household chores including (but not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bedding, laundry, and cleaning the bathroom
Perform patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
Providing palliative care
Medication reminders
Assist with exercises
Incontinence Care
Use lifting equipment such as seat belts and Hoyer cranes
Preferred experience in:
Hoyer Elevator
Personal Care
Range of motion exercises
Accompaniment
Light cleaning
Requirements:
Valid driver's license or state photo ID
Social Security (Color)
Proof of legal status
Insurance and Car Registration
CPR card (cannot be an online class)
Tuberculosis or chest x-ray
Level 2 fingerprint background check
Alzheimer's, HIV, and medication assistance CEUs
1 letter of recommendation
