Join RIVUS Consulting LLC as a Wetland Ecologist, where you'll play a vital role in preserving and restoring vital wetland ecosystems. We are looking for passionate individuals who can blend scientific expertise with a commitment to environmental stewardship in the heart of Baltimore, MD

Responsibilities:
• Field investigation including wetland and stream delineations and assessments, forest delineations, and/or habitat surveys.
• Post-construction and maintenance monitoring of stormwater best management practices and stream restoration projects.
• Environmental construction and post--construction monitoring.
• Water quality monitoring
• NEPA compliance and environmental permit reports and documentation.
• GIS analysis and mapping, field GPS data collection; and geo-processing.
• Data analysis and documentation
• Technical reports.
• Coordination with state & local agencies.
• Tasks associated with federal, state, and local environmental permits, regulations, and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience including field work including wetland and stream delineations and assessments, forest delineations.
• BS in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, Hydrology, or a related field
• Training in forest, wetland, and/or stream assessment
• Proficiency in GIS software and ecological data analysis tools
• Regulatory agency coordination and permitting experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Fieldwork experience in diverse and challenging environments.
• Professional certification (e.g., Certified Wetland Scientist) is a plus
