Northwest Medical Group (NWMG), supported by V2V Management Solutions, is seeking a Director of Operations to lead operations for a dynamic and expanding occupational medicine practice. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in scaling a multidisciplinary clinic that delivers high-quality care while helping patients safely return to work. Regional focus includes Spokane, WA and the existing Moses Lake, WA location. Need for starting in the Moses Lake location with option for changing base of operations in the future to Spokane.

NWMG services include occupational medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, and behavioral health—creating a comprehensive, team-based approach to care.

What You’ll Do: 

Lead Operations & Strategy

  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and exceptional patient experience
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance performance and satisfaction
  • Partner with leadership on growth initiatives and expansion efforts
Drive Financial & Business Performance

  • Manage clinic financials, budgeting, and reporting in collaboration with the CFO and accounting partners
  • Monitor revenue cycle performance, including billing, collections, and denial management
  • Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of care
Ensure Compliance & Excellence

  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and accrediting bodies
  • Oversee policies, procedures, and operational standards
Optimize Systems & Technology

  • Lead oversight of EHR/PM systems and other business technologies
  • Coordinate website, digital presence, and operational tools to support clinic success
Lead & Develop the Team

  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and performance management
  • Foster a positive, professional culture with strong communication and engagement
  • Partner with V2V executive leadership on HR strategy and support
Strengthen Relationships & Growth

  • Support business development and marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong referral and employer relationships
  • Represent the clinic with healthcare partners, agencies, and payers

What You Must Bring

  • Strong experience in medical practice or healthcare operations management
  • Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and revenue cycle performance
  • Knowledge of medical billing, insurance processes, and regulatory compliance (including HIPAA)
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and manage teams
  • Experience with healthcare technology systems (EHR/PM platforms)
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
Preferred:

  • Experience in occupational medicine or workers’ compensation environments
  • Familiarity with Washington State workers’ compensation regulations
