Qualifications:
- MUST have 12 core Early Childhood Education units with a grade of C or better required. (Child development, Child-family-community, two Curriculum classes), along with 3 units in Infant/Toddler required.
- Passion for child development and a desire to love and nurture young kids.
- Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
- Must meet required state background check
- Must be able to work on an iPad to enter children's daily logs and write incident reports and messages to parents.
Responsibilities:
- Foster children’s social-emotional, cognitive, language, and motor development through structured routines and purposeful play
- Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom for infants and toddlers
- Implement provided lesson plans facilitate small group learning, story time, music & movement, sensory activities, and more
- Maintain open communication regarding children's development and classroom activities with families
- Complete and monitor continual evaluation of each child’s developmental needs
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations.
** Pay based on qualifications and experience. We may have multiple teaching opportunities in our Two's, Preschool, and Transitional Kindergarten programs.
