What You’ll Do

Lead the Classroom: Create and maintain a structured, engaging, and welcoming learning environment

Implement Curriculum: Plan and execute our L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, tailoring lessons to meet the developmental needs of each child

Mentor & Support Staff: Guide Assistant Teachers, offering coaching and support to ensure classroom success

Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets all licensing standards

Engage with Families: Build strong relationships with parents through consistent communication about their child’s progress

Drive Center Success: Collaborate with leadership and team members to support enrollment, retention, and overall center goals
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred)
- At least 18 years old
- Previous experience in a childcare setting (leadership experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of child development and classroom management
- Ability to meet all state licensing and health requirements
Caregiving & Leadership Skills
- Confident decision-making to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
- Ability to manage daily classroom routines and meet children’s individual needs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to inspire, guide, and support a team
- Patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role. You should be comfortable with:
- Standing and moving throughout the day
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
- Bending, reaching, and actively engaging with children
- Supervising children by sight and sound at all times
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Compensation: $19.00 per hour
