Position Overview:
The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction projects from contract award to final closeout. This role ensures that all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and team coordination across field and office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversees all planning, scheduling, and resource coordination for assigned projects, ensuring each project is properly sequenced, staffed, and equipped to meet key milestones and contractual obligations.
· Adjusts plans proactively to accommodate weather, design changes, or unforeseen conditions while maintaining productivity and cost control.
· Manages the financial performance of each project, including budgeting, forecasting, and job-cost reporting.
· Reviews contract terms, negotiates and tracks change orders, and ensures accurate billing and cost-to-complete reporting.
· Coordinate with purchasing and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
· Review and approve daily field reports, timecards, and equipment logs in Aspire.
· Manage subcontractor performance, schedule coordination, and change orders.
· Conduct weekly jobsite visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality.
· Protects company interests by monitoring scope, expenses, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
· Provides day-to-day leadership and direction for superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors.
· Establishes expectations for safety, quality, and efficiency, ensuring consistent communication between field and office.
· Builds team accountability through clear goals, proactive coordination, and continuous improvement in operational performance.
· Serves as the primary liaison between the company, client, and general contractor. Maintains transparent, professional communication regarding progress, issues, and expectations.
· Leads project meetings, provides regular updates, and resolves challenges promptly to maintain trust and ensure client satisfaction.
· Ensures that all construction activities meet company standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
· Implements and enforces OSHA and company safety policies, conducts regular jobsite inspections, and manages punch lists and final closeouts.
· Upholds the company’s reputation for craftsmanship, reliability, and safety excellence.
· Support recruiting and development of field personnel through feedback and mentorship.
· Participate in post-job reviews to identify lessons learned and process improvements.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred.
· Minimum 5 years of experience managing landscape or site construction projects.

· Strong knowledge of hardscape, irrigation, planting, and grading practices.
· Proficient in Aspire, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to project sites.

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $85,200.00 per year
