Electronic Health Records Trainer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Health Records Trainer to join our team. As an Electronic Health Records Trainer, you will be responsible for conducting on-site training for Epic EHR to clinical and non-clinical end-users. You will serve as a subject matter expert to provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to ensure the efficient and effective use of the EHR system and other related applications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct role-based training sessions and provide follow-up/reinforcement training as needed.
- Provide ongoing EHR support to users by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and addressing concerns.
- Contribute to the development of training materials to support end-users in effectively utilizing the Epic system.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to troubleshoot technical problems and communicate user needs for system improvements.
- Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics.
- Assist with general IT functions, including user support, system issues, and operational initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Prior EHR training and/or Epic experience (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent in experience related to the position) (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with electronic health record systems, preferably in a training or support capacity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to audiences with various levels of computer knowledge.
