Location: The Learning Experience – Byron Center, MI
Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Lead a classroom of 2-year-olds in a safe, engaging learning environment
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities using the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support language growth, self-help skills, and social-emotional development
- Guide children through daily routines including toileting transitions, meals, and rest time
- Track developmental progress and share updates with families
- Partner with assistant teachers to maintain strong classroom structure
- Ensure compliance with Michigan licensing and center standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- Early childhood classroom experience required (toddlers or twos preferred)
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education a plus
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
