Assisting Hands is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to support seniors and their beloved pets. Shifts are flexible and can fit your schedule. Pet care visits are brief (typically 15 minutes). $16-$20

We are looking for caregivers who provide quality support to people while also being comfortable assisting with their pets when needed.

What you will do:
Provide companionship and emotional support 

 Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting 

 Support safe mobility and transfers 

 Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping 

 Complete short pet care visits  (feeding, walks, litter care – typically 15 minutes) 

 Communicate updates and document care provided

About the Visits
 Mix of shift lengths: morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, weeken
Build your own schedule; average 25–37 hours per week 
 Pet care visits are brief and occasional 
 Clients may need both personal care and pet support 

Important:
This role is not a fit for applicants seeking pet-only work. We are hiring caregivers who are willing to support clients with personal care needs as well as occasional pet care.

Requirements:
Dependable with a strong work history
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Minimum of one year of professional experience working with seniors
Comfortable with cats and dogs
Active driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be 21+ years of age to meet company insurance requirements for transporting clients.
