About the Role:
PARK EAST ACADEMY INC is seeking a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners, fostering their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for infants.
- Monitor and assess each child's development and progress.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes emotional and social growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. CDA or Associate with experience.
- Experience working with infants or in a childcare setting is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
- Background check clearance required.
