About the Role:
Join OWEN MOTOR GROUP INC as a Motorsports Parts Counterperson in Charleston, IL, where your passion for motorsports meets exceptional customer service! In this dynamic role, you'll assist customers in finding the right parts to keep their vehicles performing at their best.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance to customers on motorsports parts and accessories.
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate stock levels for all products.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized parts department.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and product knowledge.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Contribute to promotional activities and sales initiatives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive or motorsports experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for motorsports.
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts as required.
