About the Role:
Join Clark Quality Care LLC as a Weekend Warrior DSP and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated professionals to provide essential support during the weekends in Portsmouth, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Support clients in developing and maintaining life skills.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Document and report changes in client behavior or health status.
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to enhance client engagement.
- Collaborate with team members to create individualized care plans.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
- Attend training sessions to stay current on best practices in care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
