Print Services Specialist — AlphaGraphics Kansas City
AlphaGraphics Kansas City provides printing, design, and shipping solutions to businesses and organizations across the metro. We're a small, fast-paced team looking for a full-time Print Services Specialist who owns the customer relationship from first contact through final invoice — not just the front counter.
You'll be the first voice customers hear, and the one making sure everyone — clients and the production team alike — has what they need to get the job done right.
What you'll do:
Day one, this role owns:
- Greeting and helping every customer — phone, email, and in person — including monitoring the store inbox and answering calls
- Taking complete, accurate messages and passing along customer details from calls and conversations so nothing gets lost between the front desk and the team
- Processing inquiries, pickup and payment at the front counter
- Processing payments and running an accurate daily closeout
- Managing customer artwork files and staying on top of daily customer requests and inquiries
- Quality checks on print jobs and keeping job ticket filing current
- Learning AlphaGraphics' products, services, and pricing well enough to answer customer questions confidently
As you grow into the role, you'll take on:
- Handling customer complaints and knowing when to loop in management
- Building simple estimates and, eventually, sign estimates
- Quality checks on more complex projects
- Backup coverage during holidays and illness
What we're looking for:
- Comfort with numbers — you'll be balancing a daily closeout from day one
- Customer service experience, ideally somewhere you followed a request through to completion, not just handled a transaction
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Reliability and a steady schedule so client deadlines are met
- Experience in printing, or a real interest in learning the trade and growing into estimating and quality control over time

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
